The Dispensing Technology programme is designed to meet the demands of industry and hospital by enabling the graduates to carry out basic quality control procedures in the hospitals and industries. Graduates will be endowed with the necessary skills needed to assist in the manufacturing of drugs and pharmaceutical products, bringing real-time medication dispensing and pharmacy counseling directly to the point-of-care.
Core subjects and minimum grades: Credits (WASSCE A1-E8/ SSSCE A-E) in three (3) subjects: English, Mathematics and Integrated Science. Elective subjects and minimum grades: At least passes in three (3) elective subjects, including General Science, General Arts, Business, Visual Arts and Home Economics. WASSCE: An aggregate score of Forty Eight (48) or better. SSSCE: An aggregate score of Thirty (30) or better.
Applicants with Certificate in Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) from any recognized Institution can apply.
